…a camera, video editing software, access to the Internet, nor the notion that it was a good idea to make this pathetic music video depiction. I say “depiction” because this tripe here is so horribly done that it can be labeled no greater than as a bountifully failed mimicking of an actual music video.

I won’t even comment on this girl’s lack of rhythmic prowess, and showmanship.

Now if this were satire it would be comedic genius. But the earnestness in Tbaby’s eyes is potent. Therefore, so potent is the sorrow and weariness of my heart, begotten by this utter craptasticness. Sorrow and weariness that comes not from the lost life of a young black male through senseless violence¹, but the exasperatingly inexplicable and unforgivable fucked-uped-ness of this exhibition of mourning.

This is probably why some people [with the ignorant tendency to judge and generalize an entire race based on minimally examined experiences and statistics] might assume we suck.

So, to balance the suckiness, I feel it be obligatory that I post examples of commendable black artistic expression.
